A Family Office is a familiar concept overseas, but it’s known to an exclusive few in Australia due to the population size and distribution of wealth. Cashel is a Multi-Family Office that has transformed with evolving technology to make quality financial services accessible to a broader community. We’re committed to sharing our knowledge of financial services so more people can make smarter choices about their financial wellbeing.
What is a Family Office?
Think of a traditional Family Office as a private hospital that services a single, ultra-wealthy family. A range of financial specialists takes care of the family’s financial wellbeing, managing everything from investments, real estate and debt to domestic tasks such as booking travel and keeping records.
It can be expensive to employ a Family Office because like a private hospital, their exceptional high quality care and services come at a price. The personalised solutions, products, and guidance that a Family Office provides are regarded as first class when compared to the generic offering of many financial planners and banks.
What is a Multi-Family Office (MFO)?
Over time, some Family Offices grew to service multiple families and came to be known as Multi-Family Offices. A team of advisors possessing a combination of investment, tax and or legal credentials can also form a MFO.
