When I founded Cashel in 2007, it wasn’t to fill my days with more ‘work’, rather quite the opposite.
Like most people, I desired choice – in how much time I could spend with my growing family, where we holidayed, and how we would travel there. I wanted flexibility to shape how we lived our lives.
I believe most people innately share this desire.
Over time I met hard working, talented individuals who deserved more than the choices they were left with, and I wondered what had held them back. It took many years working in the financial sector until I learned the reason that less than 20% of Australian’s had a financial plan was due to the complexity of financial and credit industries, and the short-term focused providers who are largely unwilling to educate their clients.
“I realised that people lacked access to the tools and guidance required to create opportunities for themselves.”
I founded Cashel with this purpose, to provide access and quality advice to the growing number of families that wish to shape their futures.
Many ask where the name Cashel came from. The literal translation of Cashel is a stone fortress where one would hold and protect their wealth. Today, Cashel helps clients protect and grow their wealth, keeping simplicity, choice and personal relationships at the heart of what we do.
I look forward to working with you to help achieve the lifestyle of your choice.
